Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with all safety standards
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when and where required
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Fuel and grease all equipment daily
Diagnose and repair company assets, maintain repair order documentation and assist other maintenance personnel when required
Document repair operations and time tracking in accordance with company policies
Request parts required as necessary
Ensure service trucks are kept clean, organized, and maintained properly and ready for use at all times
Immediately report any safety violations and correct unsafe acts or conditions
Perform technical inspections and document findings
Perform Preventive Maintenance operations when required
Oil and filter changes
Change air filters and cabin air filters
QUALIFICATIONS:
Heavy equipment maintenance experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Thorough knowledge of applicable safety practices and procedures
Strong communication skills to coordinate work flow with crew, foreman and superintendent
Valid Class 3 operators license with air brakes (candidate to provide current abstract)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to work in the Ft McMurray area and live in remote camps, working a rotational schedule
CSTS/OSSA or BSO Certification
Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and ******* test
Camp accommodations are not provided
