The Role Responsibilities
• Standard Chartered is looking for Full Stack Developers for its agile teams.
• Experience in Web / Mobile Web / Native Apps or backend systems development. An ideal candidate should have worked in agile delivery and understands the CI/CD model.
• As a Full Stack Software Developer and a member of a highly-skilled forward-thinking team working on product development in an agile and collaborative environment, you will work with modern technologies and learn how these technologies are applied.
Role / Responsibilities
• Experience – 5 – 8 years
• Responsible for end to end development of entire features and will be a full-time senior member of the Engineering team to build products and solutions
• Be and lead an integral part of an Agile engineering team and work interactively with fellow engineers and product owners
• Mentor & provide guidance to members in development and testing methodologies
• Actively participate in agile development process and peer to peer code review sessions
• Excellent knowledge of Java J2EE development, Spring and Struts frameworks, Hibernate, HTTP and RESTful APIs
• Understanding of Object Orient Programming and Functional Programming paradigms
• Good knowledge of JavaScript and technologies around it, like Angular, React NPM, is a plus
• Relevant experience in Software Quality Engineering processes including modern CI processes and Test using tools such as Git, Ansible, Docker, Rundeck, Bitbucket etc.
• Well-versed with Agile methodology and global delivery model
• Follow good engineering principles to build high quality software
• Excellent communication skills
