At IBM, you will use the latest software development tools, techniques and approaches and work with leading minds in the industry to build solutions you can be proud of.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesProducing solutions that excel at performance, reliability and web scalabilityComplete coding, testing, defect fixes, and production support, using agile CI/CD methodologiesAnalyzing current code and existing design with the goal of enacting improvements geared towards making components and processes more efficient for the entire teamPlanning iterations and representing accomplishments at team scrumsPresenting individual and team status during weekly playbacks or on management callsManaging risks and resolving issues that affect scope, schedule, and qualitt Effectively leveraging build, deployment and monitoring/logging tools such as Travis CI/Jenkins, New Relic, Logentries, etc.Evaluating and selecting appropriate tools to enhance the teams’ productivityCoaching and collaborating with other development team membersIBMReferred_IndiaRequired Technical and Professional Expertise3-8 years of relevant industry experience.• Using popular front end frameworks like React, Type Script etc• Creating responsive UIs and implementing zero-data designs• Experience with cloud-native application development such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DB2, etc) or NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, Cloudant, or Cassandra, etc.)• Knowledge of one or more server-side languages (NodeJS, PHP, Java, etc.)• Knowledge of microservices architecture• Knowledge of DevOps concepts and methodologies• Experience with agile methods, iterative development and continuous integration Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseBachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or related) or equivalent experience Knowledge of user analytics and monitoringExperience building and deploying SOA/web services (REST, JSON, XML, SOAP)Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift and container development paradigmsKnowledge of the IBM Cloud offering and marketplace ecosystem
