What you will be doing
Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
Internally recognized specialist on complex technical matters. Champions significant projects using demonstrated leadership and creativity.
Technical ownership of 1-2 development areas and contributes to other areas.
Understanding of a Worldpay product area along with customer needs and market. Handles multiple tasks and can switch between them.
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
What you bring:
Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in software development methodologies and best practices
Experience in Angular 2/4/5/6/7/8/+ versions, JavaScript, HTML and CSS and Typescript.
Hands on experience in building applications using Java, J2ee, Spring, Spring MVC.
Excellent programming skills and proven expertise in OOP and other programming concepts.
Experience with Soap/Rest web services
Experience with Bootstrap and other UI development toolkits/frameworks
Experience with working collaboratively using Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience in developing highly scalable and reliable web applications, including integration with internal and external systems.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills
• Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
• Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed
• Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts
• Willingly and successfully fulfills the role of teacher, mentor and coach
• May require in-depth knowledge of networking, computing platform, storage, database, security, middleware, network and systems management and related infrastructure technologies and practices
