Job description - Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack) - Backend Developer
Responsibilities:
· Design, code, test, release, and maintain software for our commercial and business requirements.
· Produce reusable, testable, and efficient code.
· Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
· Maintain legacy code written by other developers, including bug fixes.
· Integrate external software libraries and APIs into existing projects.
· Identify and correct bottlenecks as well as fix bugs.
· Knowledge of testing procedures, design principles, and frameworks for web development.
· Maintain the security, scalability, and maintainability of the application.
· Keep up on the latest events in web development trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
· Strong grasp of software engineering principles, with React, Next.js, and Typescript experience.
· Create responsive and engaging user interfaces using ReactJS.
· Strong expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js and related technologies.
· Develop RESTful APIs by writing server-side code in Node.js and Express.js
· Database management (SQL & NoSQL) and server-side programming expertise.
· Experience with common web development tools and services, such as version control software, package managers, and CI/CD pipelines.
· Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
· Good understanding of server-side templating languages.
· Understanding of Agile methodologies.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Skills Preferred:
· Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, Postgres, CloudSQL, Data Fusion), Python, SQL, Terraform.
· Code Quality Tools like SonarQube, Fossa, Checkmarx.
· CI/CD tools like Tekton.
Candidates from Chennai are preferred.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
