Block Gemini is hiring for a senior #Full-Stack Developer /#lead full-Stack Developer with good expertise in developing applications using #frontend End & #backend Technologies, minimum 5 -10 years prior experience as a senior or Lead Developer, and a total of 5+ years experience in both frontend and backend programming.
Responsibilities
• Developing front-end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back-end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
Position Requirements
• Minimum 4 - 7 years prior experience in a senior or Lead Role
• Developer with a total of 5+ years of experience in both frontend and backend development.
• Dealing with ambiguity - pull apart complexes, and solve them.
• Expertise, primarily, in #reactjs & #nextjs with experience in other languages like #python and PHP, a bonus
• Proficient in #api design using RESTful techniques and/or GraphQL
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6-2026) and Core Java ,TypeScript
• Solid understanding of #javascripts backend frameworks like NextJS and Bookshelf
• An appreciation of data structure and database design
• Experience working with databases SQL and/or MongoDB
• Experience working in real-time environments with
• WebSockets
• Proficiency in #HTML/CSS3 and CSS animation
• Exposure to React tooling like Redux Toolkit, selectors, and React Context API / API integration
• Exposure to component libraries like Material UI
• Knowledge of #aws infrastructure
• Experience with containerization e.g. Docker and serverless environments e.g. AWS Lambda would be a bonus
