Job Description
We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team on a Employee basis. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and applications. You will work closely with our team to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our clients' needs and requirements.
Responsibilities:
Develop new WordPress websites from scratch based on client specifications and requirements.
Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project objectives.
Collaborate with designers to implement visual and interactive elements into WordPress sites.
Implement responsive design techniques to ensure optimal performance across different devices and screen sizes.
Optimize website performance, speed, and security.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
Maintain and update existing WordPress sites, ensuring compatibility with the latest WordPress versions and security updates.
Assist with website migrations and server configurations.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for WordPress sites, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in WordPress development.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer, preferably with at least 1 year of experience.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
Understanding of website performance optimization and caching techniques.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with front-end frameworks, such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less.
Knowledge of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as jQuery or React.
Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations.
