Overview
GovCIO is currently looking for a Full Stack Developer for our GPO proposal. This position will be remote.
Responsibilities
• Develop and deploy working code and configurations for features and functionality as described in applicable documentation or as required by the Program.
• Refactor components to ensure maintainability and performance.
• Check-in code and configuration updates using the Program's designated Version Control System and processes (e.g., Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops).
• Integrate individual existing and new components with other Public Access Subsystem and/or Content Management and Preservation Subsystem components, as needed to support Program needs.
• Create and update issues within source code management tools (e.g., Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops) and update GPO’s enterprise issue trackers (e.g., Trello, Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops).
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and test steps. Update release and backlog issues within the Gov Info Program’s release and backlog management tools. (e.g., Trello, Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops).
Qualifications
7 years of relevant experience building, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing Java
• EE custom web applications and web services.
• Experience developing, maintaining, updating, and resolving XML schema.
• Experience troubleshooting operational support issues in a fast-paced Production environment.
• Experience building, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing a custom web application using Orbeon XFORM server.
• Experience installing, configuring, managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Live Cycle.
• Experience installing, configuring, managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading analytic software such as Web Trends or Piwik.
• Experience with traditional waterfall and agile software development lifecycle methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience authoring, editing, and maintaining design documentation, standard operating procedures, and configuration documentation.
• Knowledge of Federal legislative, regulatory, and judicial processes and publications.
• Must be able to fluently communicate in the English language, in writing and orally.
• Experience with Dev Ops, test driven development, and test automation for all levels of the test pyramid.
