Job Description
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to work with our established Web development team to deliver web-base projects for our business.
Key duties of this role include working closely with other teams on projects of all sizes, writing of PHP scripts and coding to create or modify software and applications according to the business needs. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience building web-base portals and in-depth knowledge of frameworks like Laravel, JavaScript, Ruby or PHP. Ultimately, you will ensure our web portals are up and running and cover both internal and customer needs.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
Work closely with the IT team in completing projects.
Troubleshoot and fix any issues relating to PHP programs.
Ensure smooth operations of web processes and infrastructure.
Create scripts to facilitate client systems to meet performance and objectives.
Test and develop software for client applications.
Create documentation for software created.
Utilize source debuggers and write or modify client software.
Produce results effectively and within the deadlines set.
Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting, studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
Creates multimedia applications by using authoring tools.
Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Tools you should have some experience in: WP/Shopify/Laravel/NodeJS/AngularJS Developer & Designer
PHP frameworks, specifically Laravel, Cake PHP, CodeIgniter.
Pyro CMS
Shopify, Magento, jQuery, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Presta shop, BigCommerce, OpenCart, AngularJS, Twitter Bootstrap, Node.js etc.
Comprehensive skills in theme development/customization, writing optimized and W3C valid codes, database management, working on APIs, XML/JSON parsing and plug-in development/ customization.
Expertise in at least one programming language, preferably JavaScript, Ruby or PHP
Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS
Experience with mock-up and UI prototyping tools
Understanding of security practices
Familiarity with network diagnostics tools
Team management skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree B.Sc or M.Sc CSc/B.E/B.Tech/MCA/BCA.
