Job Description
Role Responsibilities:
• Partner closely with design and product teams to craft products with exceptional customer experiences and deliver the highest business value
• Develop and build the product in an agile software development environment
• Participate in sprint planning, task breakdown, and daily stand ups
• Work with product owners, development lead and architect to understand objectives and translate these into a system level design and implementation
• Implement designs that meet quality standards, coding standards, and provide a rich user experience across platforms
• Design and implement new frameworks and software that meets company’s standards in performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Troubleshoot and solve production issues related to performance and reliability throughout the software stack
• Proactively identify bottlenecks in the system and work to resolve these issues before they become a problem
• Drive teams to follow clean code principles, lead code reviews and use tools like SONAR to improve code quality
• Proficient in communication, have a customer focused mindset
• To create high traffic back and front-end distributed services for customers
Education and Experience:
• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Java with web and enterprise application development
• Strong understanding on concepts like Web Services, SOA, REST APIs, RPC, SPRING Framework and Micro Front Ends
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, JPA, Junit, JMeter, Gradle/Maven and Jenkins
• Experience with database like SQL and NoSQL
• Understand either Angular or React. And have demonstrable, in-depth experience building microservices
• Hands on experience in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Sonar Cube, Fortify, etc. release automation tools, blue/green deployment.
• Good Working Knowledge of Java Concurrency libraries, collections and Java 8
• Ability to develop streaming applications using Kafka (kinesis, MQ is addon)
