Job Description
Investec is looking for a Full-Stack Developer for the Retail Savings Digital and Technology business who would be fully responsible for developing and maintaining software products to create a seamless Investec experience for our clients. This role works collaboratively within product teams to create and support rich, interactive applications that help retail savings clients manage their savings. You are responsible for your area of specialisation, as well as for all aspects of product development from interacting with stakeholders and users, to design, development, and deployment, through to production monitoring and support.

Essential Experience

Experience in developing User Interfaces using Typescript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Extensive knowledge in developing single page applications (SPAs) using Angular 2+ and/or React
Experience developing REST Web API's using C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework
Good Understanding of Document Object Model (DOM) and DOM Functions
Experience with front end tooling, workflows and ecosystem including using Node.js, npm, yarn, webpack, prettier, eslint
Experience using front end state management tools like Mobx, Redux, NGXS, NgRx Store
An understanding of Storybook and component driven atomic design principles
Experience working with Document store databases e.g. Mongo DB, Cosmos DB
Knowledge of Infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform or ARM / Bicep templates
Advantageous Experience

Knowledge and experience of Event-driven Architecture
Familiar with Domain Driven Design techniques
Knowledge and working experience with GraphQL
Experience using testing frameworks (Jasmine/Karma/Jest) and writing clear unit tests for all functionality
Experience writing and maintaining end to end tests with tools such as Cypress and TestCafe
Experience working with CSS-in-JS for styling
Experience working with the platforms and tools from major cloud service providers such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
Experience with container tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with building build and deployment pipelines in Jenkins or Azure DevOps
