Responsibility:
• Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.
• Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
• Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
• Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
• Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.
• Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
• Building interactive consumer data from multiple systems and RESTfully abstract to the UI through a Node.js backend
• Create APIs in NodeJS and work with third party APIs
• Handle Application management, including ongoing support, bug fixes, patches, minimal enhancements code refactoring, etc.
• Collaborate well with engineers, researchers, and data implementation specialists to design and create advanced, elegant and efficient systems
• Write high quality, readable and testable code
Functional Knowledge:
• In depth knowledge of NodeJS and 3 years of implementation experience.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3. Knowledge of ReactJS is an added advantage.
• Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Great organizational and time management skills.
• Availability to resolve urgent web application issues outside of business hours.
• Knowledge about SPA
• Comfortable with Agile development.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript core concepts.
• Good understanding of JSON and JavaScript objects.
• Sound understanding of Authentication and Authorization.
• Creating secure RESTful-based web services in XML and JSON, JavaScript, jQuery
• Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes is an added advantage
Technical Knowledge
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Must have a good hands-on experience with these web development languages. Knowledge of CSS extension languages (Sass,Scss) is a plus
• Proficiency in server-side programming with Node.js and working with RDBMS databases.
• Experience in consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with ORM Programming Techniques.
• Experience with versioning tools like GIT.
• Experience of Typescript is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of caching levels and memory DBs
Educational Qualification:
• B.E IT/Computer, MCA, M.sc IT
