Roles and Responsibilities:
• Work with Product owners and engineering managers to understand product roadmap.
• Contribute to designing technical specification artefacts, documentation, diagrams (HLD, LLD, TRD) and accordingly provide technical and functional recommendations.
• Design + development of massively scalable, event-driven microservices-based and high-performance cloud-native applications, making the right trade-offs for risk and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with your engineering manager, cross-functional stakeholders, and team members to solve complex tech. problems.
• High level of proficiency and experience in few or many - AWS (or other) cloud, React, Redis, Postman, Kafka, Node, Golang, Postgress, GraphQL, containerization (Dockers, Kubernetes), agile methodologies, DevOps tools (Pref. Git ecosystem)
• Strong understanding of end-to-end architectures and development frameworks; knowledge across tiers in a multi-tier cloud environment (AWS preferred including load balancers, web servers, sockets, application containers, data stores, virtual machines, cloud, CDN and distributed cache.
• Follow good coding practices, agile engineering processes, Dev Sec Ops SRE toolchain and complying with existing quality standard.
• Setup high quality standards in production running code by performing diligent code reviews and rigorous test coverage.
• Perform system failure analysis and provide corrective actions. Recommend new technologies to improve system performance and reliability.
• Ensure high availability of frontend + backend services including implementation of auto recovery procedures in collaboration with Dev Sec OpsSRE teams.
• Ensure feature KPIs / matrices and release objectives are met by delivering high-quality code and thus products
