Job description, work day and responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software products (cloud and/or in-house)
• Be a contributor of code, tests, automation, application design and architecture on an agile team of engineers working across the stack
• Play a key role in the futures of products by working closely with product management and other stakeholders to aid solution development
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
• Support, maintain, and document software functionality
• Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
• Consult with IT business/systems analysts to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs
• Contribute to team growth by providing advice, mentoring, and coaching to other engineers with positivity and enthusiasm
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and effectively present them to decision makers
• Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
• Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analysis
• Customer support including second level incident support
• Act as a technical resource to others to resolve problems, issues, errors or related
• Be able to handle multiple efforts at a time
Required Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working in team environment
• Hands-on experience creating secure applications utilizing OAuth 2.0 technologies
• Experience building/delivering performant, scalable, and flexible software solutions
• Experience with Agile practices
• Experience working with databases and proficient in writing and fine-tuning SQL queries
• Experience troubleshooting IT software issues for vended and custom developed solutions
• Experience configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting Azure/AWS based resources
• Prior experience in Node.js, React, MS SQL, C# and React
• Working with and integrating APIs
• Solid oral and written communication skills
