We're seeking a hands-on Head of Engineering with strong full-stack engineering capabilities to lead and inspire a high-performing team of 25 engineers while driving the technical vision of our innovative workplace design and planning SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise across the entire stack with engineering leadership, bringing founding team energy and entrepreneurial spirit. You'll be instrumental in optimizing our technical infrastructure, writing and reviewing code, driving cost-effective scalable solutions, and building a cohesive engineering culture that delivers exceptional value to our enterprise customers.
Key Leadership
• Own technical vision, architecture, and roadmap with strong cost awareness
• Drive cost-optimized architectural decisions and infrastructure choices
• Optimize cloud resources and infrastructure spending
• Lead system design with a focus on performance and cost efficiency
• Champion engineering excellence while managing operational costs
• Design and implement scalable and secure data architectures to support enterprise SaaS products
• Leverage data engineering best practices for spatial data processing and AI/ML pipelines
Team & Culture
• Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams
• Foster world-class engineering practices
• Drive innovation and technical excellence
• Establish a metrics-driven development culture
• Optimize development processes and methodologies
• Ensure successful delivery across multiple projects
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science/Engineering from premier institutes
• 12-18 years of engineering experience, 5+ years leading engineering teams
• Strong startup experience with proven scaling success
• Hands-on full-stack expertise (React, Node.js, TypeScript)
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure optimization and cost management
• Experience building enterprise SaaS products
• Track record of growing engineering teams while managing budgets
• Strong system design and architecture skills
• Experienced in establishing clear KPIs for development velocity, system reliability, and infrastructure management
• Experience in handling more than 3 squads of cross-functional resources
Preferred Experience
• 3D/CAD systems and spatial data processing
• AI/ML implementation in enterprise products
• Early-stage startup scaling experience
• Design tools and creative software
