About Business line/Function :
Falcon is custom built application that supports Securities Lending funding (SLAB) business in Prime Brokerage world. It provides enhanced functionality necessary for the desk’s daily activities like trade entry and trade life cycle maintenance. It supports various SLAB trader functions like Auto borrow, Short sell approval, DTC Monitoring, Real time reports, etc.
Ø How does it fits in Prime Brokerage business
Provides the Securities Lending desk and several other downstream business function groups with the necessary automation and reporting that allows the SL business to scale to the volumes it currently supports. The platform supports all Securities Lending functions for the entire BNP firm including Prime Brokerage, Equities Trading, Operations and Finance.
Ø Who are the users
Falcon have its main user’s base accessing the application from New York. However some of its module are also used by users handling or supporting PB business in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Lisbon.
