Your Role
We are currently seeking a talented and ambitious individual to support our team’s drive to build out our analytics capabilities
The role is to build a suite of actuarial tools for inhouse use. This will involve:
o Taking Excel models built by our actuaries and coding these up in Python;
o Tying the tools into various data streams; and
o Building dashboards to make the tools available for internal use.
These tools will support our Covenant Risk Solutions, Journey Planning, Strategic Investment Advice, and Pensions Corporate Finance business areas
You will be working closely with our London based actuaries, who will guide you through the calculations involved and review the final outputs.
In Chandigarh, you will be working alongside other software developers working on similar projects, who can support you with any day to day questions
There is potential for further analytics or AI integration to the tool.
The Requirements
Strong full stack Python background including:
o Data wrangling and analytics;
o API integration; and
o Dashboard development (through a variety of technologies).
- Self-starter attitude
- Experience of building or working with models in a financial context
- Good analytical skills, including presentation of outputs
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- More advanced finance, pensions, or actuarial background not required but useful
- Interest in Machine Learning or AI also a positive

Salary: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
