Responsibilities
The Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, operating, and maintaining software, firmware components, or computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with solutions or products that also encompass non-information technology related engineering or scientific disciplines
Applies the appropriate software standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system life cycle to support the generation of multi-disciplinary solutions and products such as intelligence tasking, control, exploitation, and dissemination; command and control; situational awareness; digital signal processing; and modeling and simulation
Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users and other technical and support personnel; Cybersecurity specialist, HSI design support, network engineer, security engineer is included in this job family
Assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions
Works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently
May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job
Initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs
Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff
Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for mission critical challenges/issues

Position Description:
NS2 Mission is seeking Full Stack Software Developer to support our team in Chantilly, VA.
The Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, operating, and maintaining software, firmware components, or computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with solutions or products that also encompass non-information technology related engineering or scientific disciplines.
The team has several openings for this positions and are looking for Mid-SME level Software Engineers to provide support with either of the following:
Tech Stacks:

Position Responsibilities:
• Applies the appropriate software standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system life cycle to support the generation of multi-disciplinary solutions and products such as intelligence tasking, control, exploitation, and dissemination; command and control; situational awareness; digital signal processing; and modeling and simulation.

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Years of experience desired for Software Engineer:
• Experience serving as a technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.
• Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and applications.
• Navy SSEE experience desired
