Are you a Full Stack Software Developer with extensive experience in Java, React, NodeJS, and modern web technologies? This hybrid contract role is ideal for a seasoned developer who thrives in architecting scalable applications using microservices, developing responsive interfaces, and driving secure, high-performance systems.
Our client is looking for a Software Developer – Full Stack for a 10 month contract , with a hybrid work model (3 days onsite) based in North York, ON.

Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and APIs
• Translate complex system specifications into working, tested applications
• Build and support responsive web applications with React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Develop scalable backend systems using Java and NodeJS
• Apply microservice architecture principles to enhance application modularity and extensibility
• Implement secure integrations with JWT, OAuth 2.0, and SSL
• Ensure AODA/WCAG compliance and accessibility standards
• Use Azure DevOps for task tracking, CI/CD, and team collaboration
• Contribute to blockchain-related initiatives and smart contract coding (Solidity)
• Participate in Agile development cycles and cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications
Must Have:
• 10+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Java development with Oracle or SQL databases
• React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS
• 5+ years of experience with REST API development
• Hands-on expertise with microservice architectures
• Experience with Next.js, Vue.js, RXJS
• Proven knowledge of responsive web design and accessibility standards (AODA/WCAG)
Nice to Have:
💻 Experience with blockchain and smart contracts (Solidity preferred)
📡 Familiarity with event-driven, message-oriented, or reactive architectures
🧠 Strong grasp of object-oriented design, design patterns, and clean coding practices
🔄 Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Agile SDLC
🔐 Knowledge of cryptography principles and secure coding standards
