We are on a mission to rebuild a part of the internet & our society that has been ravaged by social media.

Two of us have been working at this full time for 4+ years. We are very close to achieving product-market fit.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone that can bring a lot of dev firepower and is also able to go with us on the last few steps before we achieve product-market fit - we estimate in the next 6 to 24 months.
After that, we will need someone that can round out all our technical foundations as the organisation rapidly scales, building the tools to enable interactions between many users, with A LOT of media sharing happening.

T3 Stack (React / Nextjs)
Hosting webapps on Vercel
MySQL / Prisma
Team Fit & Personal Qualities
Ability to build software fast, with strong underlying infrastructure
Can absorb information from multiple sources and follow our lead in the early days
Can deliver with intrinsic initiative
Willingness to learn fast and move with the evolving nature of tech
Salary
Salary is negotiable, but would likely be in the range of $50K – $85K pa for full-time work.
Hiring Process
We have a Special Dev Event, on the 11th April 2026 in Christchurch, to see if you would be a good fit at the Egg Academy - will send through details if you get in contact.
Work starts on a trial basis, migrating to full time
Q: I'm looking for part time work, will this be suitable?
It can start part time, but when things kick into gear (in the next 6-24 months), we are looking for full time energy.
