Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress and Node.js Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress-based websites and applications, as well as working with Node.js for backend development. You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
Create and maintain WordPress-based websites and applications, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with designers to implement user-friendly and visually appealing front-end designs.
Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress sites and applications.
Develop custom functionality and features using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Work with Node.js for backend development, including building RESTful APIs and server-side logic.
Implement and maintain efficient data management and storage solutions using databases such as MySQL or MongoDB.
Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Optimize website and application performance by implementing caching, compression, and other performance optimization techniques.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress development and Node.js.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a WordPress and Node.js Developer.
Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
Experience working with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Proficiency in Node.js and backend development using Express.js or other relevant frameworks.
Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
Experience with database management systems such as MySQL or MongoDB.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
Knowledge of server administration and deployment using tools like Docker or AWS.
Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and tools.
Understanding of SEO principles and best practices for WordPress.
Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations, such as WooCommerce.
