Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Bash, and Linux, along with a thorough understanding of system administration, web development, and UI/UX design. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications and platforms, ensuring smooth performance and a user-friendly interface.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and improve web applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
• Create user-friendly UI/UX for web applications.
• Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• Perform system administration tasks, such as setting up and configuring web servers, databases, and other related infrastructure.
• Bug fixing and building automation pipelines for resolving customer support issues.
• Troubleshoot debug, and fix issues with existing code, as well as develop new features and enhancements.
• Create and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system management.
• Monitor and optimize web application performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure applications are current and competitive.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in web development using PHP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of Linux system administration, Operating systems and Bash scripting.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools.
• Familiarity with database technologies, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker or LXC.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
