YOU SHOULD HAVE:

Strong knowledge of Web development (WordPress) and SEO

Expertise in WordPress Custom Theme Development and Plugin Development

Excellent knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process

Understands WP architecture and knows how to perform database and code optimization for WordPress

Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

Proficiency in PHP/MYSQL and AJAX

A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues

Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques

An ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at the same time

Maintaining article database, Updating SEO of all archives by tweaking titles, keywords, meta data

Keeping archives up - to - date for website format, advertisements, sponsored links etc

Minimum 2 years of experience in WordPress Development

Experience with Opencart, Magento, and Shopify (preferred)

Excellent written and spoken English

YOUR DUTIES AND TASKS:

Developing and providing maintenance support for WordPress/PHP sites

Developing custom themes and plugins

Migrating websites from other platforms to WordPress

Optimizing page speed of WordPress sites

Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in WordPress sites

Creating responsive website designs

Continually explore new channels to use to grow our social media reach

Social media management: Build and manage our social media profiles and organic presence, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant

Come up with ideas to create more traction online identify other platforms, forums, etc., to generate more traffic, and do so with SEO in mind

Track and improve important SEO metrics, including organic traffic, conversion rates, and time spent on page

Responsible for improving the overall organic traffic growth of the website
