As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing security detail in accordance with post orders and maintaining high awareness of your surroundings. This vital role requires proactive reporting and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Control entrances and monitor pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings and perimeters.

• Inspect and report security and fire hazards.
• Undertake special assignments as required.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
• Arriving on time and reporting to your post in full uniform.
• Greeting customers, visitors, and employees warmly and professionally.
• Staying up to date with any revisions to post orders and instructions from management.
• Vigilantly monitoring your assigned area and reporting suspicious activities.
• Maintaining a knowledge of emergency policies to respond to incidents effectively.
• Completing daily reports, log entries, and relevant documentation accurately.
• Providing recommendations for safety improvements based on your observations.
• Familiarizing yourself with all security systems and ensuring their proper functioning.
• Meeting training and compliance regulations as per company standards.
• Regularly communicating with your Security Supervisor regarding any security matters.
