Full job description
Hallidays point tavern is looking to add additional Full time qualified chef team member to join our existing team.
Must be able to work weekend and nights.
Be able to work within a fast pace team environment, and have an eye for details
Kitchen service is 12-2 and 5pm-8pm 7 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals consistently during lunch and dinner service.
Design and contribute to seasonal menu planning and daily specials
Ensure all food is prepared in line with food safety and hygiene regulations
Monitor stock levels, conduct stocktakes, and manage inventory efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
Qualification in Commercial Cookery (Cert III or higher preferred)
Passion for great food and a strong attention to detail
Reliable, flexible, and available for weekend and evening shifts
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $73,500.00 – $76,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
