Financial Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Operations Manager to oversee the financial operations of our travel agency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting functions including invoicing, maintaining daily books of accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, overseeing budgeting and cost control, and maintaining compliance with all financial regulations.
This role requires a strong grasp of accounting principles, as well as familiarity with the travel and tourism industry's financial processes.
Main Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, balance sheets, and profit/loss statements.
• Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning for the agency.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial laws, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare for audits.
• Reconcile travel bookings and vendor payments (airlines, hotels, tour operators, etc.).
• Supervise the accounting team and provide guidance and training as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in Tally accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skill.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
