Job Description Summary:
Responsible for sorting freight and ensuring all shipments move through stations seamlessly, safely, and with care so that the company deliver on service promises.
Job Description:
Safely manage and internally move consignments that come in and out of stations in a timely manner.
Label consignments properly for efficient route.
Sort consignments to the correct delivery area.
Work together as a team to ensure efficient turnaround times.
Manage opening & closing of trailers (including assisting with sealing)
Manage opening & closing of gates.
Manage restraining & un-restraining of freight (including scanning)
