Monday – Friday: 8:15 AM – 4:15 PM

Position Summary
We are currently hiring for a full-time Rotational Security Guard position to replace an existing team member. The successful candidate will support operations across two client sites:
100 Adelaide Street West, Toronto (fixed work location)
3500 Steeles Avenue East, Markham (occasional shifts)
This role requires cross-site training (40 hours at each location) and the ability to adapt to a rotational schedule. The ideal candidate will be experienced, reliable, and capable of working in a professional and fast-paced environment.
Start Date Requirements:
Training must begin no later than April 13, 2026
First independent shift: Tuesday, April 21, 2026 (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM)
Required Qualifications
Valid Ontario Security Guard License
CPR / First Aid Certification
Minimum 2.5 years of security experience (required)
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong report writing abilities
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Strong observational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned premises to ensure safety and security
Control access to sites and verify credentials
Identify and respond to security breaches, hazards, or incidents
Maintain a strong and visible on-site presence
Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate when required
De-escalate situations using professional communication techniques
Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports
Enforce company and site-specific policies and procedures
Coordinate with emergency services when necessary
Training Requirements
40 hours of training at: 100 Adelaide Street West, Toronto
40 hours of training at: 3500 Steeles Avenue East, Markham
Candidates must be available to complete full cross-site training prior to working independently
