About the Role
We are seeking a professional and people-focused Full-Time Permanent Night Security Officer to join our team at 5-star Retirement Living Facility in suburb Woollahra, Sydney NSW. This is a full-time, 4x4 Rotating Roster position where you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of residents, staff, and visitors.
You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment after hours. You will conduct routine patrols of the premises, CCTV, provide access control and be the first point of contact for any incident responses. Your ability to balance security responsibilities with strong interpersonal and communication skills will be essential to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors
Maintaining working knowledge of the locations of various departments, routes and admission requirements
Use computerised access control systems/CCTV
Conduct regular patrols of the designated areas.

Hours/Roster: 19:00-07:00 - Rotating 4x4 Roster [Monday-Sunday]
Skills & Experience:
Current 1AC Security Licence (Required)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Required)
Current Police Check [Last 3-4 Months is sufficient] (Required)
Vaccinated for Covid-19 and Influenza (Required)
Previous experience in Retirement Living Facilities will be highly regarded.
Previous experiencing using computerised access control systems/CCTV
Strong interpersonal communication and report-writing skills
Physically fit and capable of performing the required duties
