Position: Full Time Residential Security Guards
Site: Condominium Properties in Greater Toronto Area
City: Mississauga
Job Type: Full Time (Must be available for ALL shifts)
Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour
Start Date: As soon as possible. This role is for an existing vacancy, no upfront costs associated.
We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Security Guards to join our Residential team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees.
Requirements:
Must hold a valid Ontario Security License
Must be able to write Special Occurrence Reports (SOR) and Daily Occurrence Reports (DOR).
Conduct routine interior and exterior foot patrols of the facility grounds.
Must have access to own transportation
Available for ALL shifts ( no restrictions)
Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of unauthorized entry or activity
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to ensure the security of the premises
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential security risks
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related incidents
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns
Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment
Experience:
Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment is a plus
Strong observation skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
Basic computer skills for report writing and incident documentation
