About the Role
Salvos Stores Joondalup is seeking a motivated, values-driven Full-Time Sales Assistant to support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations and help create an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers, and community members.
We are looking for someone who will not only deliver great customer service but also bring positivity, energy, and a people-first approach that helps build a strong and supportive team culture in store.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a high standard of customer service, creating a welcoming and positive in-store experience
Process retail sales and operate Point-of-Sale systems
Assist with the collection, sorting, and pricing of donated goods
Support visual merchandising and maintain store presentation standards
Ensure stock is displayed correctly in line with policy and procedures
Follow all Occupational Health and Safety guidelines
Demonstrate The Salvation Army’s values in all work-related activities
About You
Retail experience is highly regarded but not essential
Customer service experience with a genuine passion for helping others is essential
Confident, friendly, and outgoing, with the ability to connect with people from all walks of life
A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to bring energy and enthusiasm into the workplace
A natural team player who contributes to a supportive, inclusive, and uplifting team culture
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Alignment with the values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity
