Job Title : Customer Analytics ETL (Informatica) Engineer
Role Description
The tribe "Customer Analytics" is responsible for the creation as well as the orchestration of the digital customer communication towards our internal and external customers for the brands Deutsche Bank and Postbank within Deutsche Bank Private Bank Germany (PB GY).
The tribe consists of several squads, which are responsible for the Digital Marketing Platform of PB GY on the one hand and the creation, orchestration, and playout of data-based, individualized customer communications on the other.
The overall management of the Digital Marketing Platform is clustered in a Product Domain.
The squad DevOps Data and Analytics Platform is responsible for :
• Source data from multiple operating systems
• Transform data as per business need
• Warehouse data to leverage analytics and campaign and marketing management.
The majority of the team is based in India, reporting into the German organization.
We are looking for a ETL (Informatica) Engineer to be responsible to improve our system of insights throughout the life cycle and contribute to leveraging and scaling our Digital Marketing Platform for our clients.
Your Team will focus on the delivery and maintenance of customer centric data Warehousing as well as ETL workflow development around our BI landscape.
Your team will also be responsible for migration of the Informatica ETL workflows to Google Cloud.
Your key responsibilities
• You will support the existing team and actively help to expand the functionality and continuously improve the platform.
• You will be at the forefront of transforming our applications, moving processes to the cloud and towards a different technology stack.
• You help refining existing implementation standards in the scope of your applications, modernize our application in collaboration with other experienced colleagues and also improve the general stability of the product.
• You find new ways to work more efficiently and support the introduction of productivity-increasing measures, leaner processes, efficient tools and generally also automation, e.
g. in the form of continuous delivery.
• You take part in developing and operating your Team's application and are ready to take on the mantle of an operator if something goes wrong or it's simply your turn.
• Conversely, you also make it your task to constantly develop yourself further and are open to more modern approaches to data integration / processing.
• You get stories / requirements and develop those according to the standards your team sets out in a self-reliant manner.
• You'll collaborate with Product Owners as well as the team members in regards to design and implementation of data analytics solutions and act as support during the conception of products and solutions.
Your skills and experience
• Extensive experience (5+ Years ) with extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools - Informatica +.5 mapping and workflows
• Experience in developing PowerCenter Workflows and Sessions, and Oracle database
• Experience with proficiency in PL / SQL and Unix Shell scripting
• Familiarity with using Agile Methodology, understanding of ITIL processes in a DevOps context
• Extensive experience with Oracle Database, Good to have experience in NoSQL Database.
• Expertise in performance tuning of databases for optimal performance (creating the indexes on tables and partitioning the table for SQL tuning purpose)
• Good understanding of relational database management system (RDBMS) concepts, dimensional modelling like star schema, snowflake schema.
• Extensive experience in creating PL / SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, materialized views and exception handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking and migrating complex data sets in oracle and knowledge and experience in setup data exchange protocols
• Worked in agile environments with methodologies such as SCRUM
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Experienced working in distributed multi-cultural teams
