Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Web Developer at Globo Soft Solutions in Thane, with opportunities for remote work. The Web Developer will be responsible for back-end and front-end web development, programming, web design, and overall web development tasks to enhance the online presence and user experience of our clients' websites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Frontend Development:
• Build a responsive and interactive user interface using modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Backend Development:
• Develop the backend of the ticket booking system using Node.js (with Express.js) or Django (Python) to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Database Management:
• Design and manage relational databases using PostgreSQL or MySQL, or implement a NoSQL solution like MongoDB, depending on project requirements.
• API Integration:
• Implement RESTful APIs or GraphQL for seamless communication between frontend and backend components.
• Open-Source Tools Integration:
• Customize and integrate open-source ticketing systems such as OpenTix, Pretix, Attendize, or Event Espresso to fit the specific needs of our project.
• Payment Gateway Integration:
• Integrate multiple payment methods to provide a secure and convenient payment experience for users.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the design and product teams to implement features and enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to maintain high code standards.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in full-stack development, preferably with ticketing or event management platforms.
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid experience with backend technologies like Node.js (Express.js) or Django (Python).
• Expertise in database management with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience in API development and integration using RESTful or GraphQL.
• Familiarity with open-source ticketing tools such as Open Tix, Pretax, Attendee, or Event Espresso is a plus.
• Knowledge of payment gateway integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
