Full Time Housekeeper Sought for Family near Pangbourne, Reading, RG8
A lovely family of 4, with 2 dogs are looking for an experienced full time housekeeper for their beautiful property near Pangbourne, Reading, Berkshire RG8. This is a live-out position, you must drive and have your own car.
Package Offered
• £35k - £40k gross per year
Family Background
The couple have 2 adult sons, one away at university, who visits regularly and the other lives away from home. They also have 2 dogs, a Labrador and Jack Russell, both extremely friendly and well behaved but as such the role requires a dog friendly candidate. The mother has Multiple Sclerosis and is disabled, as such the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all duties within the home.
Duties
The family home consists of 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large games room, a separate office building and an in-use 2-bedroom cottage.
You will responsible for all housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and ironing duties. As well as occasional driving, grocery shopping and other ad-hoc tasks for the family.
The role requires an experienced and proactive Housekeeper, able to provide comprehensive support to the family and manage the property as if it were their own.
Light cooking duties may be required from time to time as well as assisting in the kitchen when the family are preparing to entertain.
You should be happy to help walk the dogs if needed. When the family travel you will be asked to house sit and care for the dogs for up to a week at a time.
Location
This is a live out position and the family are based in a rural location outside of Pangbourne, Reading, Berkshire RG8. You should live suitably local to commute daily.
Days/Hours
5 days a week, Monday to Friday
+am - 5pm
Languages
You must speak a good level of English.
Special Skills
You must have a full driving licence and have your own car due to location.
