Job Description
Your Role:
• Inspect, assess, and test products to ensure conformity with international and national regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation that meet industry standards.
• Provide technical expertise to support sales and marketing efforts, including delivering customer presentations.
• Develop and communicate test procedures while collaborating with safety agencies on product design.
• Offer technical support during safety test programs and on-site inspections.
• Stay informed on evolving safety requirements and related technologies through ongoing training and seminars.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to the ISO 17025 Quality System.
Your Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in functional safety in sectors such as Automotive, Rail, Machinery, or similar systems.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing safety-critical systems, including ISO 26262, ISO 61508, and ISO 13849.
• Proven technical leadership and ability to thrive in collaborative environments.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with basic project management experience.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to fast-paced working conditions.

The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $90,000 - $120,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors including experience, training, and qualifications. The compensation package may also include eligibility for an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes a 401(k) plan with employer match, paid parental leave, health insurance plans (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance, disability coverage, and generous paid time off.
Please note that this role may require 20% national travel and the ability to lift and manipulate equipment weighing up to 25kg.
