Senior Associate for Global Fund Services - Performance and Risk Analytics - The Performance and Risk Analytics ('PRA') Team is responsible for providing an overview and analysis of portfolio performance to institutional clients such as investment managers and superannuation funds. This is achieved through various analytical tools and reports including performance measurement, attribution and contribution analysis, risk analysis and other value-added services such as portfolio optimization and manager analysis. PRA has 40+ clients and forms part of Investment Information Services within the Investor Services arm of J.P. Morgan.

Job Responsibilities

Awareness of stock market practices & data vendor systems (e.g. Bloomberg)

Knowledge of the processes of a fund's Custodian Bank and Investment Manager

Analytical with good problem-solving skills

Committed approach with the ability to communicate effectively within a small team

Flexibility - support department projects and work overtime during peak production periods

Implemented process improvement/robotics.

Meticulous attention to detail

Ability to work in a deadline driven environment

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

Proven ability to effectively utilize the functionality of core applications and analyze large datasets

High level of proficiency in Excel with the ability to interrogate data and maintain customized client report templates

Experience in the funds management industry in a performance measurement, operations or accounting role would be highly regarded

Demonstrated numerical ability and analytical skills
