Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and coordinating fundraising events to support a small school for underprivileged children. The school is run by a friend of ours, and we are committed to helping them in any way we can.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate fundraising events to raise funds for the school.
• Reach out to potential donors and sponsors to solicit donations for the school.
• Prepare promotional materials and appeal letters to help promote fundraising efforts.
• Organize and manage volunteers to support fundraising events.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and donors.
• Provide regular reports on fundraising progress to the school's management team.
Requirements:
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices.
• Experience in event planning and management.
• Familiarity with donor management software.
• Passion for supporting underprivileged children's education.
Compensation:
The Fundraising Coordinator will be offered a part-time position with a flexible work schedule. The coordinator will be compensated based on a commission of 10% of the funds raised through their efforts. In addition, interns working under the coordinator will receive a certificate of completion and text benefits under Section 80C.
This internship is totally commission based.
