We’re looking for a curious and analytical Fundraising Data Analyst to turn data into insights that drive smarter decisions and stronger donor relationships.
This role sits at the heart of our fundraising and engagement activity, helping the organisation better understand supporter behaviour, campaign performance and long‑term income trends. You’ll work closely with teams across Engagement and Marketing, CRM and Finance, to deliver clear, actionable insights that inform strategy and improve outcomes. You will:
Transform fundraising and supporter data into meaningful donor insights that inform strategy, improve performance and strengthen supporter engagement
Deliver evidence‑based reporting and analysis that builds understanding of campaign effectiveness, donor behaviour and fundraising trends
Partner closely with Fundraising Operations, Engagement and Marketing, CRM, and Finance teams to provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights that support planning and decision‑making
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and analytical models that enable stakeholders to monitor performance and identify opportunities
Support continuous improvement through data modelling, campaign segmentation and improved analytical approaches
Contribute to future readiness by supporting the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI‑assisted analytics, to enhance reporting capability and insight generation
Ko wai koe | About you
You’re comfortable working with complex datasets and enjoy translating numbers into clear stories that influence decision‑making. You’ll bring:
Tertiary qualification in data analysis, insights or a similar environment
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly to non‑technical audiences
Experience working with donor data through a fundraising CRM (e.g. Salesforce Not for Profit or Raisers Edge).
Confidence in reporting, segmentation and data modelling techniques
An interest in emerging analytics technologies, including AI‑enabled tools
A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across teams
