Full-time Reporting to: Corporate Partnerships Director
Since 2004, CORE, a national 501(c)3 has provided grants to Food and Beverage service employees with children who have faced hardships such as illnesses, injuries, severe medical diagnoses, death of the employee, spouse or child, or loss of home or place of work due to a natural disaster. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fundraising & Events Manager to join our team and help us expand our reach and impact.
Position: Reporting to the Corporate Partnerships Director, the Fundraising & Events Manager plans and executes fundraising events at the local, regional, and/or national levels. This position actively assists in the development of partner opportunities while supporting relationships with current corporate partners, sponsors, individual donors, and CORE supporters.
Responsibilities
Fundraising
• Expands and coordinates a pipeline of potential donors and sponsors.
• Supports existing partnerships while continually identifying and cultivating new prospects through various channels, including but not limited to social media, industry events, and conferences.
• Creates and implements fundraising campaigns tailored to different donor segments.
• Represents CORE in the local community, engaging with various organizations, businesses, and individuals to support our mission.
• Prepares and delivers presentations to potential partners, donors, and community groups, effectively communicating our mission and goals.
• Utilize CRM software (GiveButter) to track donor data, interactions, and fundraising progress.
Events
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to create memorable and successful events that align with CORE’s mission.
• From inception to rollout, under the direction of the Corporate Partnerships Director, coordinates fundraising event process, ensuring all organization, planning, and execution are seamlessly coordinated and within budget.
• Active collaboration with CORE Ambassadors to establish on-going revenue stream through community fundraising events.
Qualifications
• College degree or 3-5 years equivalent experience required.
• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for the organization’s mission.
• Previous experience in event planning and fundraising within a non-profit, restaurant, or related industry.
• Strong understanding of the fundraising cycle, including key touchpoints, and donor stewardship.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
• Comfortable with public speaking and delivering presentations.
• Proficient in CRM software and data coordination.
• Experience in adherence to departmental budgets.
• Position based in Brentwood, TN with some remote office work.
• Travel Requirements: Up to 25% as needed.
