Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Furniture and Joinery Shop Drawing Draftsman based in Bengaluru. The role involves the creation of detailed technical shop drawings for furniture and joinery projects, interpreting architectural and interior designs, and ensuring accuracy with precise measurements and specifications. The Draftsman will work closely with architects, designers, and other team members to coordinate project requirements and ensure the deliverables meet quality standards. Tasks also include collaborating with construction teams and suppliers to ensure designs are implemented effectively.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Construction Drawings and detailed technical documentation relevant to furniture and joinery.
• Experience in Space Planning, Interior Design, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment).
• Strong understanding of Architecture principles and the ability to translate design concepts into actionable plans.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure precision in measurements and specifications.
• Relevant academic qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
• Experience in hospitality or residential projects will be an advantage.
