Furniture Delivery Helper

Job Summary

We are seeking a Delivery Helper to assist in the transportation and delivery of goods to various locations. The ideal candidate will support the delivery driver in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Duties

- Assist in loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles

- Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks for moving heavy items

- Follow delivery routes provided by the driver

- Help with navigation and provide support during deliveries

- Perform general warehouse duties as needed

Skills

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks

- Familiarity with commercial driving practices is a plus

- Experience with route driving or courier services preferred

- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures

- Capability to work well in a team environment

- Proficiency in using equipment like box trucks and vans for deliveries

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
