• Technical drafting: Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings, models, and prototypes using software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Material selection: Choose suitable materials, such as wood, metal, or plastic, for each project.
• Client and stakeholder collaboration: Work with clients to understand their needs and with manufacturers to ensure the designs can be produced effectively.
• Production oversight: Liaise with production teams to guide the manufacturing process and ensure quality control.
• Problem-solving: Address issues related to cost, safety, and production feasibility.
