Standard Furniture Mart is a design-led custom furniture workshop based in Dehradun, working closely with architects, interior designers, and end users to craft beautiful, functional furniture. As we grow, we're looking to expand from pure custom work to developing our own line of design-forward SKUs. It’s a dynamic, creative space—and we’re looking for someone who thrives in that energy.

Job Description

Analyse clients’ needs and develop designs as per requirements

Conceptualise and model furniture using softwares such as AutoCad, SketchUp, SolidWorks etc.

Create visual furniture layouts & design presentations for clients

Work with facility managers to ensure all furniture designs are in keeping with company standards and regulations

Coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure all designs are accurate and feasible

Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget

Assist in ideation and prototyping of in-house furniture collections

Skills we’re looking for

Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must (SketchUp, Rhino, or Fusion 360 are a bonus)

Eye for design, proportion, detailing, and materials

Strong understanding of furniture construction methods & ergonomics

Clear communicator, proactive, and willing to take ownership

Good taste. (Really good taste)

Undergrad in furniture design, interior design or a related field

A keen eye for proportions & details

A working knowledge of furniture ergonomics & joinery

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
