Unity3D Programmer/Game Programmer
Role overview:
Unity developers working on games and AR/VR/MR to deliver high quality gameplay experiences. They will closely work with a team of game designers, 3D artists, UX designer, QA professionals to carry out product development from conception to execution. Must have an ability to manage multiple projects, effectively communicate with key stakeholders and collaborate with other team members is essential.
Responsibilities:
End to end Unity game flow implementation
Translate design specification into functional game
Communicate with other team members to establish effective pipeline and integrate media assets
Write super-clean, testable and well documented code
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate those problems
Skills:
Excellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with scripting in C# and JavaScript, textures, animation, GUI styles, and user session management
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
Knack for writing clean, documented and easily maintainable code
Familiarity with level design and planning
Experience with game physics, particle systems and client server communication scripting.
Experience with mobile (Android & iOS) and console game development
Experience optimizing memory and space usage for support of older hardware
Good hands on experience of tools like Perforce, JIRA, GIT and basecamp
Experience with 3D, Vuforia, ARCore/ARKit, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift is a plus
Server-side programming experience is an added advantage
Estimation and prioritize tasks and deliver them in a timely manner
Background:
Undergrad/Postgrad in Computer Science preferred. 3-5 years of Unity coding experience preferred.
