In this role, you'll be part of the Engineering/Development team at Play Games24x7 Pvt. Ltd., taking ownership of the core products and collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality software that provides an exceptional user experience. You'll work with Java, Linux, and popular IDEs, tools, and scripting languages, as well as have opportunities to mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of applications
• Write code, perform code review, unit testing, and deployment
• Apply design principles with a focus on user experience, usability, template designs, and client-server concepts
• Contribute to project estimates, scheduling, and deliverables
• Work closely with QA team to determine testing requirements for full coverage and best quality
• Mentor and guide junior team members
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from a reputable University
• 1-3 years of experience in software development, focusing on JAVA/J2EE Server-side programming
• Hands-on experience in Core Java, Multithreading, RMI, Socket programming, JDBC, NIO, Web Services, and Design Patterns
• Familiarity with distributed systems, caching, messaging frameworks, ESB, and Linux operating system
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB/Cassandra database management systems
• Experience with message queue systems and AMQP/Kafka
• Participation in Agile methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
