Servicing the Gaming industry for over a decade, Technicolor Games uses advanced technology to develop concept art, previsualization and art direction, motion capture, key frame animation, CGI assets and immersive experiences for AAA game releases.
Our team of global artists delivers highly complex animation solutions for games, working with the full scope of game engine pipelines. We have delivered over 2000 minutes of animation, 20,000 gaming assets, and 75 game releases to date.
As we strive to push the gaming market forward, we work closely with our Technicolor Creative Studios partners network not only to develop content within Games, but realize gaming brands’ full IP journey, from development of Marketing assets to feature length films.
Job Description
Essentials:
Knowledge of gaming pipeline
Strong understanding in composing and understanding layouts.
Strong sense of proportions and perspective.
Moderate understanding of Anatomy.
Handling the entire character design package. i.e. - char design, expressions sheets, turnaround, posing, callouts.
Good understanding of colors, forms and shapes
Software knowledge of Photoshop, illustrator
Basics of color keys, and storyboards
Ability to work in any art style.
Strong understanding in graphic design.
Should be able to create 2d fx, char, icons, UI elements.
Moderate written and oral communication skills
Any of the following is a bonus:
Strong foundation in traditional art
Background design, Matte painting.
Basic 3d knowledge

Basis the candidate’s Demo reel quality, Test & interview performance, and other evaluation criteria the management will decide upon the designation.
