Garcia Plumbing & Gas is looking for a standout plumber to join our growing Wellington team.
We are skilled plumbers and gasfitters who pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable service for our clients. Our work spans a wide range of projects, meaning you'll gain experience across residential and commercial maintenance, commercial fit-outs, residential renovations and new builds.

The Role
This role involves working across a variety of residential and commercial plumbing maintenance projects throughout Wellington.
Key responsibilities include:
Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures
Diagnosing plumbing issues and identifying effective solutions
Working on maintenance jobs, renovations, commercial fit-outs and new builds
Ensuring work meets industry standards and safety requirements
Maintaining accurate job documentation and communicating with clients and the team
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable service
Communicates clearly and professionally with customers, the office team and other trades
Keeps the team informed of job progress and completion
Works well independently while also contributing positively to the wider team
Is approachable, sociable and enjoys being part of a supportive team culture
Has strong problem-solving skills and takes initiative on the job
Is open to feedback and always looking for ways to improve
Maintains a professional and presentable approach when dealing with customers
Brings a positive attitude and good sense of humour to the team
Requirements
Current NZ plumbing licence
Gasfitting and/or drainlaying a bonus (not essential)
Current NZ driver’s licence
