Homestead Nurseryland is a locally owned 3 acre garden centre / nursery located in Abbotsford. We are open twelve months of the year and seven days a week. We have been growing and selling beautiful plants and all the accompanying associated garden products for over 30 years in the Fraser Valley. We are currently looking to find a individual to work in our bedding plant , nursery area.The position requires a passion for gardening, plants and people. We want an individual who can offer our customers a fun and great sales experience while helping them create a greener, healthier beautiful environment.
Qualifications and skills
-good physical health as this job will require bending, lifting, and moving garden and floral products.
-The applicant must enjoy working outdoors in all types of seasonal weather.
- some cashier experience would be beneficial
- basic Plant and garden knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work as a team player with others
- Able to work independently unsupervised
- Mature attitude good work ethic
- able to work weekends
- able to lift 40 lbs
- Fluent english spoken and written
