Job Description
We are currently looking for a Manager / Sr. Manager - Garment Technician, to join us.
In this role, you will be involved in the final development stage of the products on
daily basis; checking the fitting, measurements, and workmanship of the garments.
You will also be responsible to work in a team with Quality Controllers, Merchandisers,
and the R&D team.
You should also be able to oversee every stage of garment production, from design to
manufacture, be involved in choosing the correct fabric, and making sure production
remains within budget, and work closely alongside designers, pattern cutters, and
buyers.
Responsibilities:
Maintain quality standards as set by the company
Making patterns and size guides as per the buyer’s requirement and design
Approval of FIT , PP sample approval of job workers & factory along with size set
embroidery (Machine,, hand) and printing
Making patterns from the proto stage with the help of Rich peace software and manual
Getting the sample made as per the requirement of the clients, styling and measurement
Coordinate with merchandisers
Taken remedial action on comments received from buyers by making recommended
changes and proceeding in making size set patterns with their grading as per the
measurements
As per the given shrinkage for the respected style, make corrective changes on pattern
Involved in major decision making with all top senior executives
Maintaining the entire checklist and the standard required by our clients and the company
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of experience in a retail background (Apparel)
Highly organized with good prioritization skills
Flexible approach to be able to adjust to the constantly changing needs of the business
