Location - Whitefield, Karnataka (On-site)
Role Overview -
• Identify current blocks for developments and where new blocks are required, creating measurement charts and pattern work from reference samples when required.
• Work closely with development and design teams during the development stage to provide construction inputs for better costing.
• Work with the Product Development team to ensure all styles are sealed as per TnA.
• Issue fit comments to the Product Development team.
• Manage size standards for all product categories, establishing and maintaining fit and size standards.
• Approve and maintain consistent grade rules across for vendors.
• Monitor and record supplier performance and feed back to the wider team on where issues need highlighting.
• Strong inline checks, resolve day to day technical issues to secure the bulk production and work within the timeline against the Launch date.
• Manage vendors independently & handle final inspections.
Requirements -
• 3 years of industry experience in Garment Technology specifically in Men’s / Women’s casual wear apparel in both knits and wovens.
• Collaboration and teamwork are key, you should work hand in hand with the Product Development team and other stakeholders to co-execute the strategies and activities that are set.
• Experience in conducting or assisting quality inspections.
• An in depth knowledge in garment construction and grading. Understanding patterns is an added advantage
